Customer's use of this website, www.thecandlegardencullman.com, constitutes an agreement to abide by the proceeding website use terms and conditions. Please carefully read our policies page before placing your order.

Privacy Policy
All information collected by The Candle Garden is used for internal purposes only and will not be sold to or shared with any person, business, or entity outside our establishment. We use the personal information you provide for purposes including, but not limited to: fulfilling requests for products, tracking and confirm online orders, providing customer services, sending marketing communications and performing other business activities as needed.

Care and Use of Candles
Please adhere to the following for proper care and use of your candles:

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended
  • Do not burn candles for more than 2 to 3 hours at a time
  • Do not burn any candle on furniture or counter tops without a protective tray or plate under the candle
  • Never burn a candle on or near anything that can catch on fire
  • Keep candle out of direct air draft to prevent high flame and flickering
  • Before blowing out, allow candles to make a well of melted wax at least 1/4" deep
  • Do not burn candle lower than 1/2" from bottom of it's container.
  • Keep wick trimmed to 1/4" above top of wax
  • Votives must be burned in a small votive cup
  • Keep candles out of the reach of children and pets
  • Never touch or move a container candle when the wax is liquid

Failure to adhere to the above can result in damaged furniture or counter tops as well as pose possible fire hazards.

Secure transactions for this website are done via The Candle Garden who use a Thawte security certificate to ensure secure transmission of your information. You may Click Here to learn more about security certificates. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.

We can not accept any checks or money orders.

Our business hours are Monday through Saturday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm CST. Our store is closed on Sundays and all major holidays. Our phones are manned during regular business hours only.

Shipping & Handling
Most orders are shipped within 3 to 10 days of receiving your order during regular business days. Once your order has been filled, your credit card will be processed and your order will automatically be shipped. Backordered items will be filled and shipped as soon as possible unless otherwise notified.

We use standard UPS shipping to deliver your products, therefore we cannot ship to P.O. boxes. Standard shipping charges will be charged as assessed by UPS. To view your shipping charges you may click on the Calculate Shipping link located on the View Cart page once you have added items to your cart. Please allow 7 to 10 working days from the time you place your order before making an inquiry. If you must make an inquiry on an order, please include your name, order number, and telephone number where you can be reached.

Any changes to orders or cancellations must be made by phone by 2:00 p.m. CST on the same day as your order is placed. Please call us at 256-739-9702 and have your order number available. If we can not be reached by phone, please leave a message and include your name, order number, and telephone number where you may be reached. We will get back to you just as soon as possible. We are not responsible for any change or cancellation requests made after that time if your order has already been shipped. Refused shipments will be charged a 15% restocking fee plus freight/shipping charges.

Express Shipment
Need your order in a hurry? We can ship overnight or express. Just select this under shipping options or you may give us a call with any special shipping requests. Orders placed after 10:00 am CST or during the weekend or holidays will not be shipped until the next regular business day.

Returns
We feel that you will be delighted with the quality of our merchandise. If however, for some reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return the item for a refund or exchange. To return a purchase - contact us (256) 739-9702 within 10 days of purchase and we will process your request and issue you a return authorization number. Products must be returned in new condition (unused) with original packaging and accessories. We unfortunately can not refund shipping charges. Customer is responsible for return shipping charges. Returns must be made within 10 days of receipt. Any merchandise returned after 10 days from receipt can only be returned for exchange or in-store credit and may be subject to a 25% restocking fee. *We can not accept any returns after 30 days.

If making a return, please enclose the original packing slip along with the return authorization number. Wrap the package securely in it's original packaging, and send it to:

A refund will be posted to your credit card account upon receipt and inspection of the returned materials unless an exchange is requested. Please allow at least two billing cycles for your credit to show on your credit card statement. We cannot refund your money if you use any portion of your candle(s) or other products you purchase.

Merchandise damaged during shipping should be reported both to us and the carrier within 24 hours of receipt.

Bulk Orders
You may call us during regular business hours for a price quote on bulk or special orders.

Terms
We strive to accurately display the colors and provide accurate descriptions of products shown on our website. However, we cannot guarantee the actual colors that appear on your monitor to be accurate as colors may be displayed differently from one computer monitor to another.

We reserve the right to substitute containers, ribbons, etc. with like items of equal or greater value without notice.

Although we make every effort to keep our site and inventory up to date, we can not guarantee that all items are available at all times. Some items sell out quickly and may be out of stock or on backorder. If this occurs you will be notified. You will not be charged for ordered items that are out of stock. If ordering a product you are agreeing to pay the price that is listed on the product page. We are not responsible for occasional malfunctions or misprints by our shopping cart system.
