We first opened our doors at The Candle Garden 10 years ago. We started in a small shop located on 4th Street in downtown Cullman. It wasn't long before we outgrew that first shop and had to look for a new, larger location. Five years ago we found the perfect place! A 100 year old home situated on three garden scaped acres on 2nd Avenue. We currently have 3,000 square feet of showroom space and are in the process of adding an additional 1,200 square feet.
If you love historical homes a stop at The Candle Garden is a must! The original owners planted two of every tree that would grow in this area on the surrounding three acres. Most of those trees still exist today. The house has the original wood floors and tray ceilings. Outside you will find a 100 year old retaining wall built from old, big city pavers. In addition to increasing our square footage, we are also renovating much of the outside area and have plans to add a beautiful fountain and improved landscaping.
Although we are well known in this area for the exquisite scents of our hand poured candles, candles aren't the only thing we do! We have gorgeous, custom made, small furniture items, custom made gift baskets, a huge selection of collectibles from Willow Tree and Blue Sky. You'll find a large section of collegiate gift items, specifically for Alabama, Auburn, and Tennessee fans. We carry Jackel wax warmers, La Te Da effusion lamps and oil, Learning Tree Cards, Green Hill CD's, Hello Kitty, Warm Glow cake candles and Colonial taper and pillar candles. You'll also find a fantastic selection of Raven's gourmet food items and gift items from local artists.
